Grace and Jake were married in Lowell, Massachusetts and held their reception at Promises to Keep in Derry, NH. The weather forecast called for rain, but it ended up being a beautiful, sunny day! Here are a few pics:

Grace is beautifully expressive- this is her expression when she found out that the neighbors were gathering outside on lawn chairs to catch a glimpse of her in her dress!

Jake’s first glimpse:

The beautiful bride:

I love Jake’s expression during the first dance:

This was a group of dancers! The dance floor was packed from the very first song!

Kristen and Jim’s slideshow is now online! I photographed their wedding a week ago in Pittsburgh at the Carnegie Music Hall. I was assisted by the talented Andrew Jordan. It was a beautiful wedding- I loved the reception venue! See their slideshow here.

We photographed two portrait sessions in the last two days, both to benefit the Autism Society of Maine (during the months of May and June, our portrait sitting fees are deeply discounted with all of the proceeds going to the Autism Society of Maine- www.asmonline.org). The first was a session for Rhymes and Reasons Nursery School. Karen asked me to come in and do a different kind of class portrait and then snap some candids of the kids while they were playing. These were some of my favorites:

The second shoot was a family portrait session. I love it when everyone matches! Here are a few of my faves:

We’re back in Maine this morning- we spent the weekend in Pittsburgh photographing the wedding of Kristen and Jim. They held their reception at the beautiful Carnegie Music Hall - a stunning ballroom with green marble pillars with gold details. Here are a few photographs from their day:

Jim spent the morning in a unique way- he and his friends got together for an early morning hockey game! Here is a shot of Jim with his friends from Colby College:

And here is the beautiful bride in a stunning dress:

Did I mention that Kristen and Jim are hockey fans???? Kristen’s garter was a Pittsburgh Penguins garter!

The first dance in the beautiful ballroom. The guests looked on from the balconies above:

Armilee and Seth did their post session at the Westin in Los Cabos, Mexico. I absolutely love the bright colors at the Westin- it is definitely one of my favorite places to photograph! Armilee and Seth were great- they got completely soaked in the ocean (which I’m sure they didn’t mind- it was HOT!). Here are some of my favorites!

Armilee and Seth had a beautiful wedding at the Fiesta Americana in Los Cabos, Mexico. What beautiful colors and details! The ceremony was incredibly beautiful, facing the ocean as the sun was setting to the side, and the ceremony was open air facing the ocean.
