I photographed Jon in Winthrop the other day- here are some of my faves:

Angela and Joe were married in Portland, Maine and held their reception at the Eastland Park Hotel. Although it started out rainy, we had a beautiful afternoon and traveled around the Old Port taking pics of this beautiful couple. Here are a few of our faves, and you can see their slideshow here:

I photographed the Szakas family at their home last week! What a beautiful morning it was! The girls (and their baby brother!) were fantastic to work with! Here are some of my faves:

We photographed Taff, Wendy, and Ainslee in Harpswell a few weeks ago. Here are some of our faves!

Okay, I’ve been completely lazy in the past two weeks about posting to the blog, so hopefully I will be posting a lot of pics that have been sitting on my computer for AGES ready to go up.
Emily and Dave were married at The Temple in Ocean Park, Maine, and held their reception at Jones’ Landing on Peaks Island. It was so HOT out (in the 90s!), but Emily and Dave were troopers and even went to the beach! Here are some of my faves:

There’s a current web game among photographers (all over the world!!) and now I’ve been tagged by my good friend and photographer Alicia Williams. This means that I need to share 8 things that my blog readers don’t know about me and then tag six more people!
First, my 8 interesting facts:
1. Between my husband and I, we have (individually and/or jointly) lived on and/or visited every continent except Antarctica. I have spent time living in Spain, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Australia and New Zealand, and I’ve visited way too many places to list! That’s a lot of traveling!
2. I received my degree from Georgetown University in International Security and Law (I was a teaching assistant at Georgetown in a class called “Map of the Modern World”) and then studied art for my Master’s at Dartmouth.
3. I worked for the government for three years during college on the Senate Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee on Defense. Our committee created the budget for military spending across all of the branches of the military. I’ve also driven a tank and both f-18 and helicopter flight simulators (part of the perks, I guess!).
4. I have three horses and try to ride with my husband and/or kids (if you are a loyal blog reader, you probably know that I have TWO boys, ages 2 and 5) at least four times a week!
5. While I was starting my business many years ago I made ends meet by teaching high school Spanish!
6. I coach a high school field hockey team in Winthrop, Maine. That’s one of the reason that I’m impossible to reach at the studio in the fall- I’m either on a shoot or at practice (or a game!).
7. I have a dog- Kaia- she’s an Akita. I have owned Akitas my entire life!
Now who should I tag? How about:
Amy and Gus were married at the groom’s family farm last Saturday- it was a gorgeous, sunny day with beautiful views all around. They are headed to Greece for three weeks- I’m incredibly jealous! Anyway, here are a few of our favorites:

Jenny and Justin were in from Houston visiting family in Stockton Springs this weekend- they will be getting married next July, so we did some engagement pics while they were here. I wanted to share some of our faves:

I photographed the wedding of Connie and Ned last Saturday in South Addison, ME. The couple lives in England now, but Ned has ties to South Addison and they were married at his family’s oceanfront cottage. Here are some of our faves:

Connie and her dad drove to the ceremony in this gorgeous vintage car:

The reception was gorgeous- all of these lanterns hung at different levels, giving the tent a very elegant feel:

We photographed Morgan the other day out in Winthrop- she has the most gorgeous barn at her house! The weather was beautiful, too! Here are some of our faves:
