Parlin and Vishal came up to cold, windy Boston last weekend for their engagement shoot- I am photographing their wedding in New York in a month, and it was great to finally meet them!  Here are a few of my faves:

So, I just got back from the destination weddings of Adrienne/Mike and Mel/Donny (to see pics from their Mexico weddings, scroll down), and I think it must have snowed the entire time I was away!

Here are some pics I took over the weekend- let’s start with the cute skiing photographs!

Here is Cody (my six year old)- we are skiing at Saddleback in Rangeley, Maine (one of our favorite family-friendly mountains):

And here is Jackson (my three year old):

Of course, snow on the mountain is nice, but in front of the house it’s not so great…

This is the entrance to my studio (hey, it’s a good thing that almost everyone books online since I don’t think we’re getting in there any time soon…):

And here is the walkway to my side porch:

I’m ready for spring!!!

Adrienne and Mike held their destination wedding in beautiful Marina Vallarta at the Mayan Palace.  This wedding was all about the details- from the gold bracelets that the bride wore (which belonged to her mom and aunt) to the incredible lighting at the beach reception.  Alicia Williams flew down to second shoot for me at this wedding and for Donny and Mel’s wedding (more on that below).  What a beautiful wedding!  Here are a few of our faves!

From their True Romance shoot:

And on the wedding day, the fun bridal party:

And from the incredible reception, with its beautiful and colorful lighting scheme, right on the beach:

Donny and Mel held their destination wedding in beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico at the Playa Fiesta!  Their wedding was an absolute blast- non-stop fun and a party that went until 4 am.  We also did a True Romance session in downtown Puerto Vallarta and on the Conchas Chinas beach.  Alicia Williams, a friend of mine from Boston, second shot for me at Donny and Mel’s wedding and Adrienne and Mike’s wedding (more on theirs later).

Here are a few of my faves from the True Romance shoot:

And then some photographs from their wedding day:

And a few pics from the incredible reception:

If you are an avid blog reader, you may remember that I led a fundraiser to raise money to benefit the Autism Society of Maine and raise autism awareness.  I’m happy to report that it was an incredibly successful venture- the fundraiser raised over $2500 for the society!  Thank you to all those who made our portrait fundraiser such a success!
