I just flew back from giving a seminar in Charleston, South Carolina! The weather was fabulous, and the group was great! Virgil Bunao, of CVI Photography, was an incredible host! We also had two incredible couples!
We had a nice, long time with the first couple on day one:

Maybe my favorite shot of the weekend- on the side of a Mexican restaurant in a parking lot:

I photographed Dewina and Doug’s wedding at Steele Hill Resorts in Sanbornton, New Hampshire. Their wedding was right in the middle of the hurricane that touched down on the coast that weekend- it’s a good thing that their wedding was in the mountains! It was a gorgeous wedding, with a fun bride and groom. Here are a few of my faves from the day, or you can view their slideshow here:

We went outside in the rain- there was actually a very beautiful mist that surrounded them.

I loved the colors in her bouquet- okay, okay, I may be partial to purple, though…

I loved this moment during the first dance:

This was a really cool reception- not only did they have an incredible swing band, but they had gambling tables set up around the reception. So much fun!

Angie and Andy held their destination wedding last Thursday at one of my favorite venues- the Retreat at French’s Point. Angie and Andy are both artists, so they gave me a lot of time to photograph them! We had a great time- what a wonderful couple and a beautiful (and windy!) day in Stockton Springs, Maine. It was an intimate wedding, so most of the guests were part of the photographs! Here are a few of my faves, or see their slideshow here or visit their gallery here:

The beautiful fall colors are starting to appear:

I love this shot of Angie walking down the aisle with the retreat in the background:

The clouds started to roll in during the ceremony, creating some dramatic skies:
