Jen and Brad came to Maine for their destination wedding- they are getting married at the gorgeous Retreat at French’s Point in Stockton Springs, Maine, tomorrow! To warm up for the wedding they decided that they wanted to do a True Romance Session in Acadia yesterday! I love and adore True Romance Sessions- they are so much fun and they give me a chance to have a blast with the couple while giving them some funky wedding photographs (or in this case, some different Maine portraits than they will get on their wedding day)! These two are super-fun — we drove around the park for almost three hours as the fog rolled in. Here are a few of my faves from the session- I can’t wait to photograph their wedding tomorrow!

I photographed Julie and Adam’s wedding a few weeks ago, but tonight they made the trek back to Maine to do a True Romance shoot in Kennebunkport. We hit a few of my favorite locations, got eaten by bugs, jumped into the cold ocean- they were excellent sports and super-fun! I love the way Julie and Adam are always laughing! Here are a few of my faves:

Rati and Craig were married yesterday at St. Peter’s in Cape Neddick and held their reception at the Nonantum in Kennebunkport, Maine. It was rainy, but Rati and Craig didn’t let the weather get them down! We had a great time outside and then later during the reception! The dancing was incredible- the group never let up! It was a great mix of music- the dj alternated Indian dance music with top 40, and the crowd was loving it.
I loved the story of how Rati and Craig met- they were both working at a public school in Massachusetts, and were advisors to two kids that got into a fight. Rati had to approach Craig to have him tell his student to stop bullying her student, and the two of them started dating shortly after that. Talk about turning something bad into something good! Here are a few of my faves from the day, or you can view their slideshow here or their gallery here:

I am happy to say that Jenny and Justin’s wedding has been chosen for publication in the magazine Real Maine Weddings. Jenny and Justin were married at the Retreat at French’s Point last year- they chose Stockton Springs as the site for their destination wedding! I loved photographing their wedding- they were so fun and never stopped smiling! And of course, it was a great day to be a Maine wedding photographer- wonderful couple, incredible venue and amazing weather! Congratulations to Jenny and Justin! Here is one of my favorite photographs from their day:
