I am happy to say that Jenny and Justin’s wedding has been chosen for publication in the magazine Real Maine Weddings. Jenny and Justin were married at the Retreat at French’s Point last year- they chose Stockton Springs as the site for their destination wedding! I loved photographing their wedding- they were so fun and never stopped smiling! And of course, it was a great day to be a Maine wedding photographer- wonderful couple, incredible venue and amazing weather! Congratulations to Jenny and Justin! Here is one of my favorite photographs from their day:

Johnna and Robbie were married last Saturday at the Nonantum in Kennbunkport, Maine. As a Maine photographer (actually, as a New England photographer!– the rain has been up and down the New England coast), I’ve had to deal with the threat of rain all summer. That’s different from my destination weddings, where rain is unheard of during the high season. After the last two months of threatening weather, it was nice to see the sun on Saturday in Kennebunkport! It was a bit windy, but Johnna and Robbie were good sports and appreciated the sun.
Johnna and Robbie chose to see each other before the ceremony- I had a lot of time to get some photographs of the two of them. Here are a few of my faves, or you can view their slideshow here or their gallery here:

Are you married or getting married? Do you have August 2 free and can you get to Boston? Do you LOVE photographs of the two of you? Then you may want to consider this offer-
I belong to a group of photographers (called Shootstyle) that get together every few months to photograph people in different locations or in interesting scenarios. Why? To stay fresh! To feel inspired! And we’re getting together for another shoot in Boston on August 2nd and we are looking for couples! Are you a photographer looking to be inspired? What better way than through several photographers photographing YOU and your significant other!
What you get- an afternoon of many photographers (but no more than three at a time) taking your photograph and the high resolution digital negatives so that you can print them yourself! What you need: an open mind, a great attitude, a significant other, and a wedding dress. Men can wear a suit or black or khaki pants with a button down. And the wedding dress doesn’t have to be YOUR wedding dress if you are uncomfortable with using your own (although it is so easy to clean wedding dresses!), as long as it fits you! Several consignment shops (and even Marden’s in Maine!) have wedding dresses that are CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP (under $50). This is a RAIN OR SHINE shoot, so please don’t commit unless you are certain that you can make the date.
