I photographed Ashley’s senior session this week- even though it threatened to rain, it ended up being a beautiful, sunny afternoon.  It was also nice and warm- I think this was the last nice day that we had before the cold front moved in!  Ashley had a few types of locations in mind for the shoot, so we traipsed around the lake in search of waterfalls and walls as well as fields and flowers.  I absolutely love the dress that she wore for the first few!  Here are a few of my faves from the session:

Julia and Andrew are getting married next June at Migis Lodge.  They came up to Maine from New York for the week, so we were able to do a Maine engagement session!  Because they will be married on Sebago Lake, Julia wanted their engagement photographs to be somewhere different while still maintaining the look of Maine.  We chose Kennebunkport for their session, and we spent a few hours hitting a few different locations around town.  They were great to work with- we had a good time and I am really looking forward to their wedding next summer!  Here are a few of my faves:

I photographed Katie’s senior pics yesterday- it was a gorgeous sunny day and we had some fabulous light as it got closer to sunset.  Katie brought her little brother along (he’s going to be a freshman this year!) and we took a few pics of the two of them together!  Thank you Leona (Katie’s mom) for blocking the light for us, keeping those nasty (and huge!) spiders at bay, and making Katie laugh (Katie, her mom, and her brother Peter have virtually identical laughs, and they laugh often- my FAVORITE type of laughter).  Once again, I loved using the hay as a prop- I’m just sorry that it’s not going to be here much longer!  Here are a few of my faves:
