I had the pleasure of photographing a few houses for Matt Morrill, the owner and genius behind Grandview Log and Timber Frames. Matt does unbelievable work, and he wanted me to photograph a few of his houses in time for a timber framing show in mid-Maine. I had been inside one of his houses before, so I was happy to oblige. Matt does amazing work, and it was a pleasure to see the inside of these homes. Here are a few of my favorites:

I photographed the wedding of Katherine and Mike at the beautiful Mt. Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, NH, last weekend. If you were in New England, you know that there were huge storms throughout the northeast. When I left Maine, if was flooding, and when I got to New Hampshire it was snowing heavily. That didn’t stop Katherine and Mike, though- they needed no convincing to go outside in the blizzard, and that definitely made my day! Rain, shine, or even snow, I love to take my couples outside to capture some fun environmental portraits! Katherine and Mike had a great band (Wicked Smart Horn Band), and that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. As an added bonus, my friend and fellow photographer Andree Kehn offered to come and second shoot for me, and we had an absolute blast! (And thanks, Andree, for driving the truck!) Here are a few of my faves:

Tracey and Calvin have the most amazing story- they first met at Tracey’s going away party (she was getting ready to live in Brazil for a year). They dated for a few weeks before she left, and then after just a few weeks of dating, they sustained their relationship long distance for over a year. They are a fabulous and fun couple, and I had a wonderful time at their wedding. I loved the details, especially the many desserts which Tracey picked selected for the wedding- I have to admit, the dessert table looked absolutely fabulous! Their friends and family were fun as well- I think everyone at the wedding gave a toast to the happy couple! Here are a few of my faves from the day:
