Courtney and Peter were married at the beautiful St. Regis in Punta Mita, Mexico, the same day that I was photographing Sara and Nathen’s wedding (see below) in Puerto Vallarta. Although I couldn’t photograph their wedding, they asked me to do a True Romance session (aka a post session or Puerto Vallarta trash the dress session) the day after their wedding. I’m so glad they did! We had a blast traipsing through downtown Vallarta taking fun and colorful pics, and we even had time to stop by my favorite Cuban bar in downtown Vallarta- La Bodeguita del Medio- for a Mexican beer and a break from the hot sun! I’m so pleased that they asked me to be a part of their beautiful destination wedding weekend- it’s always nice to connect with fellow New Englanders!
Here are a few of my favorite photographs from the day:

Sara and Nathen met at a destination wedding a few years ago in Punta Mita, Mexico. So, when they decided to get married they wanted to hold their wedding in Puerto Vallarta, which is right down the road from Punta Mita. They were married at Refugio, the colorful Cathedral on the north side of town, and then they held their reception at the beautiful Playa Fiesta Hotel on the south side of Vallarta. As a Puerto Vallarta wedding photographer I get to see some fun weddings, but this group was incredibly fun- from the mustaches on a stick to the high jumps on the beach, I had a blast with Sara, Nathen, and their family and friends. The food on the rehearsal night (the rehearsal dinner was held at El Dorado by Boca Bento in the Romantic Zone of Vallarta) AND the wedding night was absolutely amazing- I love the presentation of the shrimp in the shot glasses during cocktail hour! And of course I love setting up the Photobooth- we have so many fun shots from the wedding Photobooth with all of the props! Here are a few of my favorites from the day (can I say again that I LOVED the mustaches??– I love weddings with props):

I participated in a boudoir marathon at the beautiful SkiEsta mansion in Bethel, Maine, which was sponsored by ShootStyle. I photographed six beautiful ladies in this gorgeous setting. We had a great time at the boudoir marathon, and I look forward to doing another in the future. If you are interested in intimate photography or having me photograph a boudoir marathon in your city, shoot me an email for more information. Here are a few of my favorite photographs from the day:
