Kathleen and Sherwin met through work- they are both respiratory therapists, and they met when Kathleen accepted a job at the hospital where Sherwin worked. They knew that they wanted a destination wedding on the beach, and they were drawn to Las Caletas in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
From the bride:
The wedding details all came together as we wanted a hot pink and tangerine wedding theme . We wanted a small but romantic wedding and that’s exactly how it felt . When I walked down the aisle I couldn’t believe how beautiful and great the details looked . We had hot pink and tangerine rose petals down the aisle , along with 3 tall vases on each side with submerged flowers . The chuppa was organza white tulle with a white rose petal curtain in the back . We decided to do our own vows and it was the best thing we could decide to do because the words really came from our hearts . My dad cried all the way down the aisle , but told a close friend of mine ‘that it was the happiest day of his life’…this really melted my heart .
Our first dance was Charlie Wilson’s “You Are”, dedicated by Sherwin to me and really had us both in tears. My dad’s song was my “Mi Nina Bonita” by Vicente Fernandez which he has dedicated to me since I was 15 yrs old (so you see why we all had waterworks/tears in full effect most of night).

I’m so pleased to announce that Orly and John’s wedding, which I photographed last March, has been featured in eleGALA. Orly and John had fun yellow details, and I simply adored Orly’s bright yellow shoes! I loved the story of their engagement- John proposed to Orly by asking her to marry him via a billboard in San Francisco! She saw it while they were walking to dinner one night, and they immediately started planning their Puerto Vallarta wedding! Click to see my original blog post with their Puerto Vallarta wedding photography, or click to head over to eleGALA. Here is a screenshot from a bit of the feature:

I am so happy to announce that one of my weddings was featured again in Seacoast Weddings Magazine! If you haven’t checked out this magazine, it is full of eye-candy if you are planning a wedding in coastal Maine, Massachusetts, or New Hampshire! This year they featured Sasha and Sam, one of the most colorful weddings that I ever photographed (and I love color)! Here are Sasha and Sam during their recessional:

What’s not to love? Sasha and Sam were married in a gorgeous spot (the Asticou, right outside of Bar Harbor), they had beautiful dahlias as their wedding flower, and Sam and his guys wore kilts to celebrate their heritage! Plus, they are an unbelievably sweet couple! This wedding was designed and coordinated by Amber Small at Sweetest Thing Weddings. Sasha and Sam’s wedding was also featured on the WellWed Blog – click below to head over to the Vermont Vows feature. Of course, you can click below to take you to my original blog post about Sasha and Sam’s Asticou wedding.
The magazine also featured some of my work from Skye and Allen’s fall wedding outside of Bar Harbor, Maine, which was designed by Judy from Flora Fauna Weddings- click on the link below to see my blog post about Skye and Allen’s fall Maine wedding. Skye and Allen’s wedding was also featured on Grey Likes Weddings- click below to check out the Grey Likes Weddings feature.
Here are a few quick snapshots of the magazine with my iPhone- to see it in all of its loveliness you can pick up a copy of Seacoast Weddings online or in stores now.

Thanks for reading! I hope that you all have a wonderful Monday!
