I photographed Brian and Helen’s wedding a few years ago, so I was so pleased when they emailed me to let me know that they were expecting their first baby– a beautiful little girl!  Evelyn was less than a week old when I had the chance to work with her, and what a gorgeous subject she was!  Here are a few of my favorite images:

I photographed Sharyn on a chilly day a few weeks ago- I realized this morning that I shared this on Facebook but not on my blog, so I wanted to rectify that and post some of my favorite images from the session here as well!  I met up with Sharyn shortly before sunset in Portland, and we did the session in a parking lot and on top of a parking garage.  Sharyn is great to work with, and her fabulous hair and makeup was done by Kate at Head Games in Portland, Maine.  Here are just a few of my favorite images:

Happy New Year to everyone- I hope you all had a wonderful (and fun) New Year’s Eve!  I photographed three gorgeous weddings over the holiday (not all in one day!  one on the 29th, one on the 30th, and one on the 31st) followed by a post shoot yesterday, so I will be posting those on here in just a few days!  In the interim, the new year is reminding me of new beginnings- not necessarily of resolutions and such, but rather of new beginnings for families– weddings, pregnancy, newborns, etc.  And of course, that reminded me to share a recent album that I put together for a client that I have photographed quite a bit over the years.  I’m so happy to say that they just had their first child, and I photographed both the pregnancy and the newborn photographs.  Here are a few of the spreads from that album:
