In my previous post, I mentioned my exciting news that a couple of my images were used in the latest Design Aglow posing guide for photographers. That brings me to another posing topic: THE SHOOTSTYLE POSING WORKSHOP, which is coming up on March 28th. I am looking for a few couples to model at the workshop in Ogunquit from 3 to 7pm– just bring your cute and cuddly selves, and I will take care of the rest!
If you are interested, let me know!
I am happy to announce that a couple of my photographs were used in the new Modern Posing Guide for the Bride and Groom by Design Aglow. Design Aglow is one of my favorite resources- their blog is always full of such wonderful design inspiration. Check out the new guide for photographers by heading over to the Design Aglow website! And because no post should be without a photograph, here are some of my favorite poses from the past year (but not the poses featured by Design Aglow- you’ll have to buy the guide to see those!!)

I photographed the wedding of Katherine and Mike at the beautiful Mt. Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, NH, last weekend. If you were in New England, you know that there were huge storms throughout the northeast. When I left Maine, if was flooding, and when I got to New Hampshire it was snowing heavily. That didn’t stop Katherine and Mike, though- they needed no convincing to go outside in the blizzard, and that definitely made my day! Rain, shine, or even snow, I love to take my couples outside to capture some fun environmental portraits! Katherine and Mike had a great band (Wicked Smart Horn Band), and that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. As an added bonus, my friend and fellow photographer Andree Kehn offered to come and second shoot for me, and we had an absolute blast! (And thanks, Andree, for driving the truck!) Here are a few of my faves:

A really fun and creative extra that you can purchase for your wedding day is the Photobooth. Your friends and family will enjoy the opportunity to snap some goofy shots on our camera (and I have to admit, I love editing these pics!!). Bring some props and let your guests go CRAZY! Here are some of my favorite pics from Crystal and Bryan’s Photobooth. Email me for more info!
