Charlotte and Scott were married at the beautiful Tremont Grand in Baltimore, Maryland. The building is a former Masonic Lodge, and it is unbelievable- every floor has a different theme, and there are several different ballroom styles to choose from. What I loved about Charlotte and Scott’s wedding is that they wanted to take advantage of as many of those styles as possible, so they were married on one floor (with a very European feel to it), had their cocktail hour on another floor (in a huge all-marble room) and had their reception on another floor (the elegant ballroom). From start to finish this was an unbelievable wedding- it was beautiful, fun, and the food was absolutely amazing. My favorite moment of the wedding was during the ceremony- right after the kiss, Charlotte and Scott just hugged and hugged. It brought a huge smile to my face, and when I think about their wedding last week it is the one moment that I remember above all others. My second favorite moment is the one right below- the look on Scott’s face as Charlotte and her dad walk down the aisle. I just love the amazing light that is streaming across Charlotte and the amazing artwork that is behind her. It was truly a stunning ceremony with two amazing people and their incredible families. Congratulations, Charlotte and Scott- you know I love you both. A special thanks to my friend Zofia who helped me out with the photography.

On Sunday I was pleased to be the leader of the first-ever ShootStyle Workshop! We had such a great group of participants (22 photographers from all over the place!) and wonderful models (6 beautiful couples) who got together to work on posing couples. I’m going to post more on the workshop itself in my next post, but for now I wanted to say thank you to all of the photographers who came out to hear me speak, thank you to all of our wonderful couples who braved the cold, and thank you to all of the ShootStyle photographers, Alicia Williams and Dana Berenson (our host and the owner of the incredible Stone Crop Gallery in Ogunquit, Maine.
I was bouncing around working with participants most of the day so I didn’t get to spend too much time with the awesome couples, but I wanted to post a few of my fave shots that I was able to grab:

I photographed the wedding of Katherine and Mike at the beautiful Mt. Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, NH, last weekend. If you were in New England, you know that there were huge storms throughout the northeast. When I left Maine, if was flooding, and when I got to New Hampshire it was snowing heavily. That didn’t stop Katherine and Mike, though- they needed no convincing to go outside in the blizzard, and that definitely made my day! Rain, shine, or even snow, I love to take my couples outside to capture some fun environmental portraits! Katherine and Mike had a great band (Wicked Smart Horn Band), and that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. As an added bonus, my friend and fellow photographer Andree Kehn offered to come and second shoot for me, and we had an absolute blast! (And thanks, Andree, for driving the truck!) Here are a few of my faves:
