Crystal and Bryan traveled from Canada with their friends and family to get married in beautiful Puerto Vallarta.  They were so much fun- not only did they have a “dance off” for a first dance (an amazingly choreographed dance complete with blow up guitars), but they also followed me around for a three hour True Romance shoot, a water shoot, and we even jumped into the water for an underwater session.  We also had a photobooth at their wedding- I love doing those because I get the craziest photographs to edit after the weddings!  Almost all of their guests visited the photobooth, although some got a bit crazier than others!    I had an incredible time at this destination wedding- here are a few of my faves:

When I met with Tricia and John before their wedding, they were so funny and easy-going that I knew that their wedding was going to be a blast.  And it certainly didn’t disappoint- Tricia’s brother did such an incredible job officiating the ceremony, and all of the family members chipped in to make the day full of heartfelt emotion.  They held their beautiful destination wedding at Las Caletas (outside of beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico).  I love the beach at Las Caletas, and it was fun to see Tricia and John’s guests jumping into the ocean during the open dancing!  They kept the party going late-night, dancing on the boat on the hour long ride back to Vallarta and then headed downtown to continue the festivities!  Here are a few of my faves from the day:

Amanda and Matt held their beautiful destination wedding at the gorgeous Playa Fiesta Hotel in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  I loved all of the special touches that they brought down to really put their own personal stamp on the wedding, but I have to say that simply adored the sea glass which added a splash of color to what was otherwise a black and white wedding.  We had gorgeous weather, and the entire group hit the dance floor and stayed there until the end, including the four flower girls (I love those white dresses with the sash!).  The sunset was truly incredible- one of my favorites of the year.  Here are a few of my faves from the day:

Whether it’s a tent on your family’s farm or a tent at a beautiful venue at the coast, tented weddings are quite popular.  Not all tents are created equal, though, and so many people are unaware of the alternatives to the shiny plastic tents.  There are several options for upgrading, but one of my favorites is the upgrade to the Sperry Tent.  Not only is the tent GORGEOUS (I’ve never seen a Sperry Tent that I haven’t LOVED), but Banks and his crew can also create a custom deck for you so that you can level out the uneven ground and even have your perfectly level tent on a hill!  Here are some of my favorite Sperry tents from this season:
