One of my favorite things about my job is the fact that I get to travel so much to photograph weddings and portraits. In addition to the awesome frequent flier miles, I also get to bounce back between weather extremes- I have to admit, it is definitely nice to leave New England every few weeks during this time of year when New England is covered by a layer of snow. Here are two personal photographs from the weather extremes that I have seen over the past few weeks.
First is the amazing waterspout that I saw off of the coast of Puerto Vallarta while I was photographing the destination wedding of Katherine and Paul (more on that later!)- for those of you that don’t know, a waterspout is a tornado over water:

After I left the 80 degree weather of Vallarta, I returned home to a two day snowstorm and sub-zero temperatures. Here is a pic from the frigid northeast:
