Megan and Zach were married a few weeks ago in Vallarta– it was a gorgeous, sunny day with an amazing sunset and a wonderful group of people!
I asked Megan and Zach how they met and got engaged, and Megan said: We met skiing with a group of friends, while we were both living in Boulder, Colorado. We got engaged on the top of the mountain while skiing. Zach kept trying to find the right time. On the final run of the day we hiked to a secluded spot and were sitting there taking in the view when he popped the question.
Here are a few of my favorite images from the day!
I asked Megan and Zach why they chose to have a destination wedding, and Megan said: A destination wedding fit both of our personalities and tastes so well. We aren’t very traditional people and we love to travel. Also, we had family and friends coming from several states so we decided why not have everyone meet in Mexico? We chose Puerto Vallarta because Zach went there many times growing up so it is s very special place to him. We found Playa Fiesta through friends who got married there.
Finally, I asked them about their favorite part of the day, and Megan said: The whole day was amazing. Maybe, it’s cliche but the best day for me, was getting to finally see Zach. I was so excited to finally see him walking down the aisle. It was the happiest moment of both of our lives. We loved getting to celebrate with our closest loved ones afterwards. The whole party was amazing; the dancing, the fireworks, the food, the drinks. It was the perfect day.
Congratulations, Megan and Zach! What an amazing day, start to finish.
