2011 has been GREAT so far- our work has been featured in a number of magazines and style blogs during the past few weeks!  Sasha and Sam’s beautiful Asticou wedding (with kilts!) was featured on Style Me Pretty today, Cate and Saro’s New York engagement session was featured on Brooklyn Bride, Abby and Colby’s wedding was featured in Seacoast Bride Magazine, and random wedding and engagement images were featured by Rock My Wedding, Fabulously Wed, Real Maine Weddings, Wedding Chicks, Prepare to Wed, the Cake and Pictures Pantry and Love and Lobster.

If you have been following my blog, you may have noticed that I was a Thirst Relief Mentor this year.  I’m happy to report that my auction brought in around $500 for this amazing charity.  Thank you to my sponsors for their wonderful support, and thank you to those who bid on me!

If you are a photographer and you are headed out to WPPI in Vegas in February, I will be speaking at three different booths this year.  Stacey Kane and I will be speaking at the ProDPI booth on Posing/Unposing, I will be speaking on album design at the Fundy booth, and then I will be speaking at the RPG Keys booth on editing and Lightroom shortcuts.  Stop by if you are around- I would love to say hi to all of you!

I am pleased to announce that my second book on wedding photography will be available early this year!  This one is more in-depth than the last, and I’m really excited to share the link when it starts shipping!

Stacey Kane and I are so excited to announce ShutterBrilliance- we have worked hard to accommodate requests for mentoring and seminars, and after a year of brainstorming I think we have come up with a fabulous itinerary for portrait and wedding photographers!  Head over to the ShutterBrilliance website for more details!

Scott Eccleston of Weekly Photo Tips, Stacey Kane, and I have also started a fabulous group for Maine photographers.  The Maine Photographer Coalition is all about learning, sharing and networking, and we have had some fabulous meetings so far!  If you aren’t from the great state of Maine (or you can’t travel here for one of our incredible meetings), don’t worry- we have some great resources for photographers all over the world in the works!  Stay tuned for more details!

Finally, I have a few seminars coming up this year, including a repeat of last year’s posing workshop for ShootStyle.

And because no post is complete without an image, here is another of my favorites from the past year!
