April and Glenn are from Georgia and over the holidays they traveled down to Puerto Vallarta to get married at the beautiful Playa Fiesta Hotel.  Glenn was roommates with April’s brother (they were in the same fraternity) when April decided to visit her brother.  According to Glenn, although they didn’t start dating immediately they both felt a connection on that first day.

I loved so many of the wonderful details, but I was over the moon that April and Glenn decided to integrate succulents into their wedding.  I love the green of the succulents, and they accented the bridal bouquet, the groom’s boutonniere, the cake topper, the centerpieces, and even the favors!  In addition to the fact that succulents make April think of Mexico in general, she was inspired to include succulents in her wedding design when she saw them featured on a style blog.

April’s dress is a David Fielden design (Kelly’s Closet in Decatur, Georgia).  Her brooch bouquet was handmade by her maid of honor (Mary Beth)!  All of the stationery and many other gifts were from Stephens Exclusives.  I also loved the color of  April’s cute Badgley Mischka shoes!

Here are a few of my favorite images from the day:
