Bright colors can look so wonderful against a gray and blue ocean backdrop- the start of destination wedding season (and the pink theme in Jocelyn’s beach wedding!) inspired me to pull some of my photographs from Chris and Monica’s wedding in the spring.  I photographed this wedding at Dreams in Puerto Vallarta- it was designed by The Dazzling Details.

Monica and Chris were married at Dreams in Puerto Vallarta and their event was designed by the fabulous team at the Dazzling Details.  I loved the free-standing dance floor on the beach with the hanging flowers to the cupcake and mini dessert table!  Of course, I love the purple- one of my favorite colors!  Even their signature drink which was served at the cocktail hour on the beach matched the event design.  They held their ceremony at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe in downtown Vallarta, and then the guests headed back to Dreams by bus for the reception.  A few days after the event we headed into Vallarta to capture some photographs of the couple on the Malecon and around town- none too soon, as the Malecon closed for construction for the rest of the season just a few days later!  Here are a few of my photographs from their two days of coverage:
