Skye and Allen held their wedding at the Maine home of Skye’s parents, up in beautiful Trenton Maine. The property is a coastal farm that gradually drops down to the water, and they were married at the water’s edge and then celebrated in a beautiful tent up by the house. Two of my favorites worked on this wedding– Judy of Flora Fauna and Megan of Maine Seasons Events — and what unbelievable work they did! The design of this wedding was absolutely stunning, and the details were fabulous. From the personalized heart on Skye and Allen’s lobster cake to the bridesmaid dresses in several different fall hues, it was difficult to tear my eyes away from the visual feast! Here are a few of my favorites from this amazing day:

A little over a week ago I had the absolute pleasure of participating in and photographing a commercial wedding event at one of my favorite venues: The Retreat at French’s Point. If you are planning a New England wedding and you haven’t chosen your venue yet, I highly recommend them- Jessika and her team are absolutely top notch!
At the event, I had the opportunity to work with some of my other favorite vendors, including Judy from Flora Fauna Weddings (one of my favorite designers and florists, and the genius behind the designs below), Jessica from Nothing Bakes Like a Parrot (amazing baked good yumminess that not only tastes fab but looks stylish, too!), Papier Gourmet (fabulous invitations and more!), Sea Bags (ahhhh- my favorite bags ever, and oh-so-useful and pretty for thank you gifts and bridal party presents!), The Good Kettle (amazing jams and food favors), and more!
Here are a few of my favorite photographs from the event:

There were several different themes that Judy, Jessika, and Jessica collaborated on- Flora Fauna set the stage with the flowers, design, and place settings, the Retreat at French’s Point coordinated with the fabulous food (and venue, of course!), and Nothing Bakes Like a Parrot made amazing desserts to fit the designs! I think this second set may be my favorite (and check out the cute new designs from Sea Bags!!):

And of course, no Maine event would be complete without a colorful nautical theme- I love blue and yellow together, and check out how fabulous the beautiful baked goods (that doesn’t sound right- maybe I should call them “baked works of art”?) look! Oh, and the fabulous fireworks show is courtesy of Central Maine Pyrotechnics- they put on an amazing show!

Sarah and Brandon were married on the Fourth of July, Sarah’s favorite holiday (and one of mine, as well)! I loved hanging out with this awesome couple, who met during their Semester at Sea. They are so fun and laid-back, and we had a great time taking pics down by the beach and all over the beautiful property. And of course, their friends and families were so wonderful to work with as well!
I really loved all of the great details- Sarah and Brandon were married at the Retreat at French’s Point (one of my favorite venues), their flowers and design was done by Judy at Flora Fauna (one of my favorite designers), and their cake was created by Sticky Fingers (their cakes are soooo fabulous)! And of course, to top it all off (since it WAS the Fourth of July, after all!!) Sarah and Brandon had both fireworks AND sparklers! It was such a wonderful evening, and I had such a great time with this group! Here are a few of my favorite photographs from the day:
