Happy New Year to everyone- I hope you all had a wonderful (and fun) New Year’s Eve!  I photographed three gorgeous weddings over the holiday (not all in one day!  one on the 29th, one on the 30th, and one on the 31st) followed by a post shoot yesterday, so I will be posting those on here in just a few days!  In the interim, the new year is reminding me of new beginnings- not necessarily of resolutions and such, but rather of new beginnings for families– weddings, pregnancy, newborns, etc.  And of course, that reminded me to share a recent album that I put together for a client that I have photographed quite a bit over the years.  I’m so happy to say that they just had their first child, and I photographed both the pregnancy and the newborn photographs.  Here are a few of the spreads from that album:

I absolutely love this family- I photographed Brian and Helen’s wedding a few years ago, and then I photographed Brian’s sister Michelle last year when she married Bobby at a beautiful lakeside wedding.  I was so pleased to find out that Michelle was pregnant, and I loved having the opportunity to help them welcome their new baby boy- Joshua!  I photographed Joshua last week- what a beautiful baby boy!  Here are a few of my favorite pics:

I photographed Payton a few days ago- this handsome little guy is just about to turn one month old.  Of course, I had to take some pics of his big sister, Bailey, who I have been photographing since birth.  I love the pic of Bailey snuggling up to little Payton!  They are so cute together!  That’s one of my favorite things about being a family photographer/baby photographer- I get to see so many beautiful children in so many different stages.  It seems like just yesterday that I was photographing Bailey’s newborn shoot!

Of course, we were even able to go outside because we had some unseasonably warm weather.  Congratulations, Fred and Jesse, on the new addition to your family!
