In honor of the fact that it’s Friday, I have an awesome wedding tomorrow, and I’m out of the country so I’m missing the slushy New England snow, I wanted to do a fun post!  If you follow me on Facebook, then you may have already seen some of these.  If you don’t, then I wanted to share some pics of our puppy, Eiger (named after the mountain in Switzerland and pronounced eye-grrrr).

Isn’t he cute?  Eiger is a Bernese Mountain Dog.  We settled on the breed when we were hiking in Switzerland this summer, and when I met Eiger’s parents (they have the sweetest personalities), I knew that this puppy would be something special.  He absolutely adores the snow, and although he has been tolerant of the fact that we have carted him around to warm climates, he is happiest in the snow.

Of course (as any photographer can tell you), the best camera out there is the one that you have with you.  So, it’s probably easy to believe that I’ve snapped a ton of photographs of Eiger with my iPhone.  The two below are my favorite iPhone pics, though.  I just adore puppy paws!

And then I couldn’t resist taking some pics of Eiger playing in the leaves and with the kiddos. The kids thought that it was funny that he wanted to play hide and seek with them!  I definitely concur…

And I’ll end it with one of my favorite photographs of the three of them- Eiger with Cody and Jackson.  When I look at this pic I think that all of them have the same expression, more or less.  The best part was that this wasn’t a photograph that I set up- they were just all hanging out of the Saab just like that:
