I may be biased since I grew up there, but I find Boston to be one of the prettiest cities in the world in the spring.  Perhaps it is because the city breathes a sigh of relief after every long, cold winter– whatever it is, there is something special in the air once the last bit of snow melts.  I was so happy that Linda and Jay picked a day without rain (there haven’t been many!) for their engagement session in Boston.  They are going to be married in Kennebunkport next month- I’m so excited for their wedding as I heard so many fabulous details at their engagement sessions!

I was so excited to work with Ben and Elif on their wedding day- not only did they meet after a softball rivalry (they were on different teams) when their teams got together for a friendly game of Flip Cup, but they were also planning a gorgeous wedding in a spot that no one had ever held a wedding before.  They chose the pier at Bayside, a community in Belfast, Maine, because Ben had been going there for years with his family.  They had a lot of fun things planned for their wedding, including a Flip Cup Tournament and a belly dancer!  Elif’s family is from Turkey, and she wanted to blend the two cultures together in a fun and unique way.

Of course, I was over the moon when BWed Exclusive wanted to publish the wedding- not only was the wedding stunning, but the couple is absolutely fabulous, too!  You can see their entire feature on BWed Exclusive, and you can see their original post on my Maine Wedding Photographer blog.

Tara and Mike were married on a beautiful fall day on Paris Hill in Maine.  The foliage was just starting to peak and I was so pleased that the sun came out just as I started to photograph the bride and groom!  Tara and Mike met in church, and I loved hearing about how wonderful they are for each other from their friends and family.  Kudos to their parents for helping out- they helped with the planning and decorations and Tara’s mom even made the amazing cake which everyone raved about!  Here are a few of my favorites from the day:
