Abbi and Sam were married on a beautiful, sunny day in July on the coast of Maine.  One of my favorite things about this wedding was that they couldn’t stop smiling at each other and laughing with each other — from the ceremony to the dance floor (where Sam definitely has some moves!!), they simply beamed at each other all day.  They held their ceremony and reception under a gorgeous Sperry tent at the Nonantum Resort.  The bride and her bridesmaids got ready at the fabulous Captain Fairfield Inn while the guys had a wonderful time pre-ceremony at the Nonantum.  There were some fabulous vendors that did a wonderful job to make the day look incredible– Bridal Alterations by Anahit, Fringe, Makeup by Leah Beth Goodman, Kitchen Chicks, and Sarah Scales Designs all made Abbi and Sam’s vision for their day into a reality.   Of course, the band did a fabulous job and everyone spent the evening on the dance floor.  Abby and Sam even joined Alter Igor up on stage for a song or two!  Here are some of my favorites from the day:

Linda and Jay were married at the St.Ann’s in Kennebunkport and then headed to a beautiful Sperry tent on the grounds of the Nonantum for their reception.  The weather report called for torrential rain, but it was a beautiful sunny day in Maine.  Linda and Jay’s ring bearer was their dog, Burton, who was dressed in an amazingly cute bowtie!  Burton even had a centerpiece dedicated to him at the reception, and Linda and Jay made a donation in honor of their guests to Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Linda and Jay had some fabulous vendors, including Sperry Tent and the Nonantum as well as Blooms & Heirlooms (who provided the gorgeous flowers), Let them Eat Cake, and Pineapple Ketch (the boat that provided transportation for Linda and Jay to the reception).

Lauren and Jason have such a sweet love story.  They met when they were kids because both of their families vacationed at Goose Rocks Beach (in Kennebunkport).  Their first date was a walk on the beach at Goose Rocks as teenagers, and later they shared their first kiss there, too.  They eventually realized that they were meant to spend the rest of their lives together, and so they returned to Maine with their friends and family for the lovely ceremony at the Nonantum in Kennebunkport. Lauren and Jason are such a fun couple, and the group was great- they packed the dance floor from the very beginning!

Diane York from Diane York Weddings & Events did a wonderful job coordinating and designing the wedding, pulling everything together to create such a beautiful event. Blooms and Heirlooms created the bouquets, Lena Harford (Hair That Moves) styled the hair, and Carol Manning did the makeup for the girls.  Tim Ames and the entire staff at the Nonantum also did an incredible job.
