I was so pleased to have the opportunity to photograph Charlotte last week in DC.  I photographed the wedding of her parents, Jen and Brad, one year ago at the Retreat at French’s Point in Maine.  Their wedding remains one of my favorite weddings ever because they chose to hold their wedding outside in the pouring rain!  It was beautiful and memorable and, above all, fun!  I was thrilled when Jen emailed me to tell me that they were having a baby, and I was excited to have the opportunity to photograph Charlotte at their home on the outskirts of DC.

Charlotte is beautiful and one of the most cooperative babies that I have ever photographed.  Isn’t it popular belief that if your child is calm and quiet that you are in for a spot of trouble when they hit their teenage years?  Jen and Brad, if that is the case, you guys had better start preparing now!    Here are a few of my faves from the session:
