One of my favorite things about my job is the fact that I get to travel so much to photograph weddings and portraits. In addition to the awesome frequent flier miles, I also get to bounce back between weather extremes- I have to admit, it is definitely nice to leave New England every few weeks during this time of year when New England is covered by a layer of snow. Here are two personal photographs from the weather extremes that I have seen over the past few weeks.
First is the amazing waterspout that I saw off of the coast of Puerto Vallarta while I was photographing the destination wedding of Katherine and Paul (more on that later!)- for those of you that don’t know, a waterspout is a tornado over water:

After I left the 80 degree weather of Vallarta, I returned home to a two day snowstorm and sub-zero temperatures. Here is a pic from the frigid northeast:

Nicole and Tim held their beautiful destination wedding in Mexico last weekend- it was a gorgeous day, with the ceremony at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe in downtown Puerto Vallarta. View the slideshow here, or take a look at some of my favorites from the day, which started with a True Romance Shoot downtown:

I loved these place cards- simple, but they say “beach wedding venue” in the best way. Nicole is an event planner in Chicago, so she had a lot of beautiful touches:

I wanted to share the slideshow from Donny and Melanie’s destination wedding in Mexico (read more about it below). See it here.
