Courtney and Peter were married at the beautiful St. Regis in Punta Mita, Mexico, the same day that I was photographing Sara and Nathen’s wedding (see below) in Puerto Vallarta.  Although I couldn’t photograph their wedding, they asked me to do a True Romance session (aka a post session or Puerto Vallarta trash the dress session) the day after their wedding.  I’m so glad they did!  We had a blast traipsing through downtown Vallarta taking fun and colorful pics, and we even had time to stop by my favorite Cuban bar in downtown Vallarta- La Bodeguita del Medio- for a Mexican beer and a break from the hot sun!  I’m so pleased that they asked me to be a part of their beautiful destination wedding weekend- it’s always nice to connect with fellow New Englanders!    Here are a few of my favorite photographs from the day:

It is destination wedding season! I’m kicking it off with the first of many destination wedding photography gigs- the beautiful Chantall and Patrick are getting married in Conchas Chinas, Mexico, at Dreams. Their wedding is tomorrow, but I photographed their True Romance (a.k.a Trash the Dress or Post Shoot) Session this morning. The water was so warm- both in the ocean and in the pool, and we hit both of them! I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding tomorrow.
