Emily and Eric traveled to Maine from Arizona to hold their destination wedding in Camden.  Their ceremony was harborside in downtown Camden, and their reception was at the Whitehall Inn (also in Camden- I didn’t know this but the Whitehall Inn was the Inn where Peyton Place was filmed!).  It was a fabulous day- it threatened rain, but Emily and Eric chose to have their ceremony outside anyway.  We only had a few drops fall, and it was a beautiful ceremony!  We had a few minutes to take some photographs by the harbor- because of the threat of rain, the harbor wasn’t too crowded so we didn’t have to dodge the crowds!

Emily and Eric are both from the east- Eric is from Maine and Emily is from New York- but they met out west, where they live.  They are lovers of the outdoors- even their table cards featured photographs from and the names of some of their favorite hikes!   I loved the colors that they chose- orange and dark reds look absolutely gorgeous at this time of year!  I also really enjoyed their reception entertainment- Emily and Eric chose a fabulous bluegrass band called Phatgrass to provide the music for their reception.  I loved the fact that everyone was dancing by the end of the reception.  Here are a few of my favorite photographs from the day:
