I immediately connected with Addie and Jeff’s group over our shared connection to Maine- there were a ton of Colby grads at the wedding! It’s not often that I travel out of the country and find people that understand the bitter cold of the northeast, so we were able to swap stories of freezing while we relaxed by the pool. This was such a fabulous group- I loved the placecards- they were luggage tags that were hung with polaroids (the NEW polaroids- have you seen these cool cameras???) that were taken throughout the week at Playa Fiesta.
Unbelievably, we had a rain scare the day of the wedding (it hardly EVER rains on the Pacific Coast of Mexico outside of the rainy season- more on that later, though), but Addie and Jeff took it all in stride in their happy, easygoing way. I had such a wonderful time working with them and with their families- in fact, one of the guests at their wedding arrived in Puerto Vallarta and liked it so much that he stayed and got an apartment!
