Gianna and Andrew were married yesterday, on the Fourth of July!  The best thing about being a Maine wedding photographer is that New England weather is SO unpredictable that even if the forecast tells you that there is a 70% chance of rain on the coast, it’s still very likely that you could have bright blue skies.   This was the third weekend in a row where that was the case, and I was so pleased to see the sun because I knew that not only did Gianna and Andrew have a beautiful outdoor wedding planned at the Lookout Inn at Flye Point in Brooklin, Maine, but they had also planned fireworks in the evening!  Here are a few of my faves from the day, or you can view their slideshow here or their gallery here:

I loved the look on Andrew’s face when he saw Gianna in her dress for the first time:

Their dog Jasper was in attendance, wearing a brand new wedding collar:

Perhaps my favorite shot of the two of them:

I loved the way Gianna and Andrew held on to each other while they danced all night:

It was a fun crowd, and a great band:

And the fireworks- I LOVE fireworks in general, but these were really cool because of all of the moisture in the air (it rained on and off once it got dark)- it created a surreal, misty effect:
