Michelle and Bobby were married a few weeks ago- I have their sneak peak on the blog a few posts down, but I just finished their slideshow and gallery so I thought I would post it here.  Michelle and Bobby were married at Michelle’s parents’ house on Cobbossee Lake in Manchester, Maine.  It was a gorgeous weddding- they added two tents to the property (coordinated and decorated by Amber Small of Sweetest Thing Weddings)- one for dinner, and one for cocktails and after-dinner lounging.  The dance floor was right at the edge of the lake on top of their boat house.  I absolutely loved the fact that the majority of the reception was open-air… I don’t get to see many open-air receptions in New England because the weather is too unpredictable, but Michelle and Bobby had a solid rain plan and fortunately we didn’t need it, so everyone danced under the stars that night!

The flowers (also by Amber Small) were absolutely gorgeous- I love the pink and blue color scheme that Michelle and Bobby chose.   Even the adorable flower girl wore the cutest blue and pink polka dot dress- she was just adorable!  My favorite photographs of the day were from the ceremony and the first dance (both pictured above in the header)- the ceremony it was such a gorgeous lakeside wedding, and the first dance because they were lakeside, in the open air as dusk was falling.  The party was fabulous- there were so many people on the dance floor from start to finish, and it was so nice to see so many former brides and grooms that I have worked with over the past few years (as well as a few people who I photographed as seniors over the past few years)!

Michelle and Bobby saw each other before the ceremony, so we had plenty of time for formal pics- they were able to enjoy the entirety of their cocktail hour, and we snuck out of dinner for just a few minutes to take some more photographs as the sun was going down on Cobbossee.
