Sam and Ian traveled from DC to hold their beautiful destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I was so impressed with all of the personal touches that Sam had lined up for her wedding, all centering around the color purple. From the table decorations to the gorgeous cake topper, Sam and Ian traveled down to Mexico with a ton of details! And of course, Sam’s “best man” (instead of having a maid of honor, Sam had a best man) came through in a big way by carrying the cupcake stand down from Chicago!
Of course, I may be biased, but I loved the fact that Sam chose purple for their wedding! She even wore purple shoes (did I mention how much I like it when brides wear colored shoes???) and had purple fireworks! Okay, I don’t know if the fireworks were intentional, but they were definitely purplish-blue!
Of course, I want to give a shout out to Ian, too- Ian’s suit may be one of my favorites EVER. A white suit with a purple shirt and pink tie? He looked super-sharp, and I LOVED it. And of course, Lindsay at the Playa Fiesta did an awesome job tying everything together in such a beautiful way.
Here are a few of my favorites from the day:
